According to the Spanish Caravanning Industry and Trade Association (Aseicar), sales of new motorhomes and campers in Spain reached 785 units in May 2026, a 28% increase compared to May 2025.
Camper and urban van segment
The camper segment saw the strongest growth: registrations rose 61.5% to 394 units, of which 111 were urban vans (up 88.1%). New caravan sales increased 23.3% to 143 units.
Second-hand market
On the used market, sales of motorhomes and campers grew 13.9% (to 2,455 units), while used caravan sales fell 12.7% to 638 units. Growth was driven by an increase in rental registrations.
