In August, Spain registered 356 new motorhomes and campers, a 14.1% increase compared to the same month last year. Sales of motorhomes grew by 17.6% (174 units), campers by 42% (125 units), while urban vans declined by 25% (57 units). Sales of new caravans rose by 22% to 61 units.
Registrations by private individuals rose 14%, and the rental channel increased from 40 to 54 units. The used motorhome and camper market grew by 16.2% (to 1,818 units), while used caravan sales remained stable (455 units, -0.6%). The ASEICAR association notes steady growth despite restrictions imposed by municipalities.
