Direct Cars (Suzuka, Mie Prefecture) has unveiled a camper van developed in partnership with workwear brand Dickies. The model is built on a Daihatsu Hijet Truck pickup and will be showcased at the Tokyo Camping Car Show on July 11–12, 2026. Orders will be accepted from July 11, 2026, through June 28, 2027.
The camper accommodates four passengers and sleeping space for two adults and one child. Standard equipment includes air conditioning, a refrigerator, a sink, a gas stove, an auxiliary battery (200 Ah lithium-ion with 2000 W inverter), and external power supply.
The interior features an American vintage style with brown leather sofas, green wallpaper, and wooden furniture. Seats are embroidered with the Dickies logo.
