Crosscamp 541 debuts at Taichung auto show

Taiwan's Little Ding-Dong Science Theme Park and Pengqu Luxury Camping have launched summer promotions on camper rentals. At Little Ding-Dong, until August 30, bookings from Sunday to Friday cost NT$6,800 for two guests, with a third and fourth child staying free. At Pengqu, until October 31, weekday rates start at NT$3,999 per night, including accommodation, breakfast, and a late-night snack.

Taiwanese hotels have launched summer promotions, including luxury camping and resort deals. Tiancheng hotel group offers double occupancy with breakfast and dinner from NT$3,999 per night, while Ideal Land resort offers from NT$7,999. The promotions run until October and August respectively.

Tiancheng Hotels Group's luxury camping brand, Tiancheng Yilv-Pengqu Luxury Camping, has launched a weekday-only 'Pengqu Zizai Select' package. From now until October 31, guests staying Monday to Thursday can enjoy a one-night two-meal deal (breakfast and late-night snack) for two from NT$3,999 per night. The package includes flexible vehicle assignment, free access to children's playground facilities, mini golf, gym, and seasonal outdoor pool. Children aged 0-2 stay free, ages 3-5 cost NT$500+10%, and ages 6+ cost NT$1,000+10%.

A new camper site with ten motorhomes has opened on the shores of Plum Lake in Yilan County, Taiwan. Each motorhome features a skylight for stargazing, and pets are allowed. The price per night has not been disclosed.

The TV program "Earth Golden Line" on July 24, 2026 featured two recreational vehicles: the self-propelled Crosscamp 541 and the Airstream Bambi 16 travel trailer. The Crosscamp 541 is equipped with a two-burner stove, refrigerator and toilet, enabling off-grid living. The Airstream Bambi 16 is a classic teardrop trailer from the US manufacturer.

In Zhuolan Township, Miaoli County, Taiwan, the glamping site 'Xiaoxiang Qingfeng' (小巷清風) has opened, featuring exclusively Airstream travel trailers — the only such site in Asia. It offers 22-foot and 28-foot models with full amenities. Packages start at NT$8,200 for a two-person Bambi 22-foot trailer and NT$9,800 for a Flying Cloud 28-foot trailer, including one night's stay and three meals.
