On August 14 at around 7:30 p.m., a camper parked in the garage of a residence on Section 2, Yuanshui Road in Yuanlin Township, Changhua County, caught fire. The blaze is believed to have started near the battery, then spread rapidly and extended to an adjacent home. Firefighters brought the fire under control at 7:43 p.m. and extinguished it at 7:44 p.m.; the vehicle was completely destroyed. The owner purchased the camper four years ago for more than NT$3 million. No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
