Taiwan's Little Ding-Dong Science Theme Park and Pengqu Luxury Camping have launched summer promotions on camper rentals. At Little Ding-Dong, until August 30, bookings from Sunday to Friday cost NT$6,800 for two guests, with a third and fourth child staying free. At Pengqu, until October 31, weekday rates start at NT$3,999 per night, including accommodation, breakfast, and a late-night snack.
Taiwanese hotels have launched summer promotions, including luxury camping and resort deals. Tiancheng hotel group offers double occupancy with breakfast and dinner from NT$3,999 per night, while Ideal Land resort offers from NT$7,999. The promotions run until October and August respectively.
Tiancheng Hotels Group's luxury camping brand, Tiancheng Yilv-Pengqu Luxury Camping, has launched a weekday-only 'Pengqu Zizai Select' package. From now until October 31, guests staying Monday to Thursday can enjoy a one-night two-meal deal (breakfast and late-night snack) for two from NT$3,999 per night. The package includes flexible vehicle assignment, free access to children's playground facilities, mini golf, gym, and seasonal outdoor pool. Children aged 0-2 stay free, ages 3-5 cost NT$500+10%, and ages 6+ cost NT$1,000+10%.
A new camper site with ten motorhomes has opened on the shores of Plum Lake in Yilan County, Taiwan. Each motorhome features a skylight for stargazing, and pets are allowed. The price per night has not been disclosed.
The TV program "Earth Golden Line" on July 24, 2026 featured two recreational vehicles: the self-propelled Crosscamp 541 and the Airstream Bambi 16 travel trailer. The Crosscamp 541 is equipped with a two-burner stove, refrigerator and toilet, enabling off-grid living. The Airstream Bambi 16 is a classic teardrop trailer from the US manufacturer.
In Zhuolan Township, Miaoli County, Taiwan, the glamping site 'Xiaoxiang Qingfeng' (小巷清風) has opened, featuring exclusively Airstream travel trailers — the only such site in Asia. It offers 22-foot and 28-foot models with full amenities. Packages start at NT$8,200 for a two-person Bambi 22-foot trailer and NT$9,800 for a Flying Cloud 28-foot trailer, including one night's stay and three meals.
Japanese tour guide Huang Bozheng, known as 'Crazy Dad', together with his wife and three children, completed a 30-day motorhome trip around Taiwan in 2021 and a 22-day bicycle tour in 2022. In 2025, he led a cycling trip for his elementary school graduate son and classmates. Two luxury glamping parks in Taoyuan, Taiwan, have launched summer accommodation packages. At Taoyuan Campsite, from July 6 to August 31, a two-night package with breakfast and dinner starts at 6,000 TWD per night, including canoeing, a children's pool, and an outdoor cinema. At Tiancheng Yi- Pengqu Luxury Camp, a 30% discount is offered on select dates through August, with a one-night, four-meal package starting at 6,160 TWD for two people, including BBQ, breakfast, dinner, a midnight snack, and a DIY workshop.
Ouma Enterprise, the Taiwanese distributor of Crosscamp, unveiled the Crosscamp 541 at the Taichung auto show. This 5.4-meter motorhome features a pop-up roof and flexible interior modules. Prices start at NT$3.58 million, with the pop-top version at NT$3.86 million. It includes a kitchen, portable toilet, and wardrobe modules that can be removed for cargo. An optional certified tow hitch is available, a first for this class in Taiwan. The vehicle will be on display from June 26 to 29, 2026.
Ouma Enterprise launched the Crosscamp 541 motorhome in Taichung. The 5.4-meter model is the first in its class to feature a certified tow hitch. Prices start at TWD 3.58 million, with deliveries expected in the second half of 2026.

Taiwan distributor Ouma Enterprise unveiled the Crosscamp 541 at the TAS 2026 show in Taichung. Prices start at 3.58 million Taiwan dollars, with a pop-up roof version from 3.86 million. The 5.41m model features a modular cabin with 14 layout options and an optional certified tow hitch.
A national gathering of J-Space van owners took place in Taiwan, organized by a local club. The event was held at the Sanwan Shuiyang Forest campsite, attracting over 200 vehicles. Participants shared modification tips and enjoyed camping. The J-Space, launched in 2024, has gained popularity due to its spacious interior and Level 2 driver assistance system.
Mitsubishi introduced an updated version of the Freeca model for 2004. The vehicle received a new exterior design as part of the corporate style, including a modified grille, headlights, and taillights. Mammoth Overland has unveiled the XLE travel trailer, marketed as a mobile shelter for extreme scenarios. The model features bulletproof glass, HEPA pressurization, 360-degree night vision, and a 37mm flare launcher. Price is approximately NT$4 million.
