CES 2026 unveils Evotrex-PG5 travel trailer with EV charging capability

GMC has introduced the Grand Avenue, a motorhome designed for camping and travel. The vehicle is powered by a 2.3L diesel engine producing 177 hp and 450 Nm of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. It measures 5930 mm in length, 2100 mm in width, and 2900 mm in height. The interior includes a bed, table, refrigerator, automatic climate control, and a 12-inch infotainment screen.

Over The Edge Taphouse, named 2025 Business of the Year, is opening The Edge RV Park in Crooked River Ranch, Oregon. The park offers 28 RV spaces, including 9 full hook-ups (50-amp, water, sewer), 16 with 30-amp connections, and 3 without sewer. On-site amenities include bathrooms, showers, and a dog park. Funding was provided by the Central Oregon Intergovernmental Council.

Peddocks Island, the only one of 34 Boston Harbor islands allowing active seasonal camping, offers 10 yurts and 6 campsites. Italian manufacturer Wingamm has updated its compact Oasi 540.1 motorhome for the US market. Built on a RAM ProMaster chassis (the American Fiat Ducato), it accommodates 2–3 people. The body uses a single molded rear panel to prevent water and dust ingress. Standard features include underfloor heating, a Victron energy management system, up to 700 W alternator charging, and a fully electric interior. The base price is $192,500 (about €167,000), below the average for comparable US models.
