Vario Mobil has introduced the 12-metre Perfect 1200 QS Platinum camper, priced at €2.2 million and built on a three-axle Mercedes Actros 2553 LLL chassis with full air suspension. A 12.8-litre six-cylinder engine produces 530 hp and 2,600 Nm; the vehicle weighs 26 tonnes, is 2.55 m wide and nearly 4 m high. Four slide-outs expand the living area to 35 sq m, and the rear garage can accommodate a classic Mercedes SL Pagode; according to the manufacturer, a Porsche 911, Maserati MC20 or Mercedes-AMG Black Series also fits, and an EV charging point can be integrated. The living quarters operate without gas, using a 17,000 W diesel water heater, an electric heating element and an engine heat exchanger; water capacity is 600 litres fresh and 450 litres waste, with a 350-litre fecal tank.
