At the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf, VARIOmobil unveiled the Perfect 1200 QS Platinum motorhome based on a three-axle Mercedes Actros 2553 LLL. It measures 12 m long and nearly 4 m high, weighs 26 tonnes, and its 12.8-litre six-cylinder engine produces 390 kW (530 hp) and 2,600 Nm. Four pneumatic side slide-outs expand the living area to 35 m²; the rear garage can hold a classic car such as a Mercedes SL Pagode or Porsche 911. The interior features leather seating, a Miele kitchen, a 17,000 W diesel water heater, 600/450/350 litres of fresh/waste/toilet water, and a 390-litre fuel tank. The show model is priced at €2.2 million.
