According to Bilprovningen's 2025 inspection statistics, 31.1% of light motorhomes (up to 3.5 t) and 22.3% of heavy ones (3.5–7 t) have defects. A total of about 26,000 vehicles were inspected. The most common issues are with the braking system. For 15.4% of light and 11.1% of heavy motorhomes, defects require a follow-up inspection after repair.
