2026 Beijing Auto Show: Changan Liebao Feizhu Edition Super Hybrid RV Debuts, Jetour Unveils New Models

At the 2026 Beijing Auto Show, Changan unveiled the Liebao Feizhu Edition, claimed as the world's first production off-road RV with a super range-extender powertrain. It features a 2.0L Blue Whale engine and electric motor, delivering 260 kW peak power and 555 N·m torque, with a combined range of 900 km. The RV uses a liftable all-aluminum roof: at 2.2 m height it fits into underground garages, and when raised becomes a living space with foldable bed and indoor shower. High-power external power supply is supported. The model is a collaboration with travel platform Feizhu.

At the 2026 Beijing Auto Show, Jetour unveiled two new vehicle categories: boxy off-road SUVs and compact travel motorhomes, along with the 'Travel+' ecosystem strategy. The Traveler PLUS series went on sale with fuel and hybrid variants (priced from 177,900 to 199,900 yuan), featuring XWD all-wheel drive and flexible seating. The Traveler 8 concept offers over 300 km of electric range and off-road autonomous driving. The Shanhai L7 PLUS and Shanhai L10 motorhomes provide convertible seven-seat interiors and two-story layouts. Jetour’s global user base has surpassed 2.26 million.

At the 2026 Beijing Auto Show, Changan Automobile together with Fliggy Travel unveiled the Chang'an Hunter Flying Pig Edition, the world's first extended-range off-road motorhome. It features an aviation-grade all-aluminum pop-up roof: when lowered, the height is 2.2 m (fits underground parking); when raised, it provides a full living space with soft curtains, a fold-down bed, a convertible dinette, a 100-liter fresh water tank, and an indoor shower. The powertrain is a 2.0T Blue Core EREV with dual electric motors, peak power 260 kW, torque 555 N·m, and front/rear electronic differential locks. The 43.47 kWh CATL 2C battery gives a total range of 900 km. The vehicle supports 30 kW external power supply (3.3 kW outlets).

Changan Fengjing has launched the 'Journey Pro', a new range-extended RV based on a Changan Hunter pickup chassis. The vehicle features a pop-up roof that lowers its height to under 2.2 meters for city driving, a 2.0T range extender with dual motors offering over 600-800 km of total range, and 6kW external discharge capability. It is offered in two variants priced between 319,800 and 349,800 yuan.
