German manufacturer Westfalia has unveiled the new compact camper Kipling 2026 based on the Ford Transit/Tourneo Custom. The model is available with 2.0 EcoBlue diesel engines producing 136 and 170 hp, with manual or automatic transmission. The 170 hp version can be equipped with all-wheel drive for an additional €4,400.
Standard equipment includes LED headlights, a digital instrument cluster, a touchscreen multimedia system, and a rearview camera. The living area features a pop-up roof with a double bed, a kitchen with two burners, a fixed toilet, a shower, Webastoⓘ heating, and a 51-liter refrigerator.
Prices start at €68,190. According to sources, the new model will be about €30,000 cheaper than the Mercedes Marco Polo, making it competitive in the compact camper market. The camper is aimed at daily use and off-road trips.
