Deniz Emek, a retiree living in Eskişehir, converted a 2004 vehicle into a motorhome over eight months, spending 150,000 liras on the base vehicle and about 900,000 liras on the conversion. He chose to do the work himself to know every part of the vehicle. Similar motorhomes are sold for 1.5-2 million liras, making his project about 35-40% cheaper excluding his labor.
