2027 Tosbiq TK 280 Travel Trailer Gets European Upgrades

Tosbiq Karavan unveiled the TK 525-NEW at the Dusseldorf Caravan Salon. The single-axle trailer is 5.25 meters long and features a front dinette that converts into a large bed, plus a fixed rear bed. Prices start at €21,000–€23,000 depending on options.

Turkish manufacturer Ankaravan presented the 2.40 Micro at the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf, a caravan measuring 2.4 meters in length, 2 meters in width and height, with a permissible total weight of 750 kg. Inside, a seating group converts into a double bed, and there is a kitchen with a two-burner gas stove, sink and small refrigerator, plus a separate sanitary compartment with shower and toilet. Water capacity is 55 liters. In Germany, a new unit is offered for about 10,000 euros, though the final price may vary by dealer.

The province of Ardahan in northeastern Turkey continues to host visitors arriving in caravans from various cities. Provincial Director of Culture and Tourism Uğur Dede noted the growing interest in the region due to its natural beauty and tranquil environment. As part of promoting caravan tourism, a group of enthusiasts led by former head of the National Camping and Caravan Federation Leyla Özdağ was hosted in Ardahan. Authorities aim to establish Ardahan as a key destination for caravanning and to further showcase its nature tourism potential.

Maltepe Caravan Park, operated by Boğaziçi Yönetim, an affiliate of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, hosted a group of 15 caravans from Switzerland, Germany, and Austria. The tourists praised the park's infrastructure, which includes pitches ranging from 70 to 180 square meters, electricity, fresh water connections, a modern kitchen, laundry facilities, hygienic showers and toilets, and spacious pergolas. The park is located along the coast, close to sports areas and public transport. Facility manager Erhan Öztürk stated that the park offers 24/7 security and invited all caravan enthusiasts to make reservations via karavanpark.istanbul.

At Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf, Hotomobil unveiled the Ronin XL 2027, a compact motorhome with luxury features, sleeping for 3–4, and a starting price of €59,200.

Deniz Emek, a retiree living in Eskişehir, converted a 2004 vehicle into a motorhome over eight months, spending 150,000 liras on the base vehicle and about 900,000 liras on the conversion. He chose to do the work himself to know every part of the vehicle. Similar motorhomes are sold for 1.5-2 million liras, making his project about 35-40% cheaper excluding his labor. Emek plans to live in the motorhome full-time after his wife retires.
