Car-sized rocks broke loose and fell onto a road where tourist motorhomes were parked in the Küçük Liman area of Amasra, in Bartın province. No vehicles or pedestrians were at the spot at the time, which prevented a possible disaster.
Teams from Amasra municipality and the district police directorate moved 13 motorhomes that had been left on the other side of the landslide to a safe zone. According to one report, 10 tourist motorhomes were taken out of the area.
Barriers were put up to block pedestrians and vehicles from entering the site and prevent a further incident.
