On Friday morning, August 14, a motorhome overturned on the Cantabrian motorway (A-8) at kilometer point 456 near Canero (Valdés), while traveling in the direction of Oviedo. The alert was received at 11:28 on the Canero viaduct.
The cause of the incident has not been established. Firefighters from SEPA's Valdés park and a basic life support ambulance from Luarca arrived at the scene and confirmed that no one was injured. Both occupants declined medical assistance as they were unharmed. The vehicle sustained damage, particularly to its front section.
