On the morning of September 4, a car and a motorhome collided inside the Valaverta tunnel on road SP232 in Ziano di Fiemme. The car overturned onto its side. Three people—an 81-year-old woman and two men aged 55 and 58—were taken to Cavalese hospital. One person had to be freed from the wreckage by firefighters using hydraulic tools. The tunnel was temporarily closed to traffic.
