The vehicle is 6.6 meters long and offers up to 20 square meters of living space thanks to two slide-out sections. It sleeps six people across two double beds and one drop-down bed above the cab. Standard equipment includes solar panels, a generator, an additional outdoor kitchen, and a heating system.

The new edition of the Salone del Camper in Parma is set to welcome tens of thousands of visitors. The event features four thematic areas: motorhomes and caravans with world premieres, accessories, routes and the new BikeUP Travel Days section. It will be held at the Fiere di Parma exhibition center, with parking and 300 equipped pitches for overnight stays.

Gloria Oppici, project manager of the Salone del Camper in Parma, says motorhomes are no longer just a symbol of long planned holidays but meet current needs for freedom, nature contact and flexible itineraries. A study by Ergo, a spin-off of the Sant'Anna School in Pisa, found that a motorhome trip cuts CO2 emissions by 70%, fossil fuel use by 64% and water consumption by 73% compared with traditional travel. Oppici notes that younger generations often start with rentals rather than purchases, and that in a Salone survey 93% of respondents chose motorhome travel for authentic landscapes and freedom.

The Italian town of Sora has been awarded the status of 'Camper-Friendly Municipality' and will be listed among national locations equipped for camper tourism. The recognition follows the establishment of an equipped camper area and support from local clubs. From 4 to 6 September, the town will host a three-day program dedicated to itinerant tourism, with the official award ceremony on Saturday 5 September at 18:30 in the Council Chamber. Organizers include Unione Club Amici – Federazione Nazionale, Volsci Camper Club of Sora, Camper Club Cassino, and Camper Club Ciociaria of Frosinone. The program features guided tours of the historic center, visits to the Museo della Media Valle del Liri, and cultural and food-and-wine events. Benefits include inclusion in official national lists and portals, promotional spaces at major tourism fairs, and increased year-round attractiveness.

A stolen camper was discovered in the Vernavola park in Pavia, near Mirabello, thanks to a neighborhood watch group. A member of L24, a social media group monitoring suspicious activities, spotted the vehicle in a remote area of the protected park where vehicle access is prohibited. After reporting to local police, it was found that the owner had already filed a theft report. Inside the camper, police found a woman with a criminal record, who was later charged with receiving stolen goods. The camper was missing two wheels, complicating its removal. Authorities are investigating whether the vehicle was used as a mobile base for drug dealing.
