Pierce County Sheriff's deputies conducted water rescues at a flooded RV park near Orting on Wednesday. The Swift Water Rescue Team deployed boats to assist as rising waters from the Puyallup River surrounded vehicles, with at least 75 RVs reported as trapped. Officials stated that while some residents were evacuated, many chose to remain with their homes despite prior evacuation orders.
