A family with two young children was rescued after their RV became stranded in rising floodwaters in Craggy Wash, north of Lake Havasu City, Arizona. The Mohave County Sheriff's Office said a 25-year-old woman and a 28-year-old man called for help while camping with their sons, ages 1 and 3, and two dogs and two cats. By the time they called, water had reached the hood of the RV and was entering through the doors. Search and Rescue crews responded after the water receded by about one foot; only the driver's side door could be opened. Rescuers helped the family retrieve belongings and transported them to safety. Officials reminded travelers never to drive through flooded roadways or cross flooded washes.
