Fire in Thoiras-Corbès
On the night of 28 September in the commune of Thoiras-Corbès near Anduze (Gard department), a fire completely destroyed three caravans. The flames also damaged several vehicle bodies and about 500 m² of vegetation. At the time of the fire, the caravans were empty.
According to preliminary reports, the cause was a candle left inside one of the caravans: it was knocked over by a passing dog. Firefighters arrived on the scene; the fire destroyed several vehicle bodies and 500 square metres of vegetation.
