Brazilian bloggers robbed in Neuquén: equipment stolen from motorhome

Fabián Figueroa, a resident of Las Heras, Santa Cruz, traveled over 15,000 km in a 1977 Ford Ranchero converted into a motorhome. He equipped the vehicle with a bed, portable kitchen, and storage space. The route included Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Mexico, the United States, Canada, and Alaska. The goal was to support the Argentine national team at the 2026 World Cup.

Marta and Marià left Barcelona 14 years ago, shipped their van to Argentina, and have been living a nomadic life ever since. Councilor Mariano Puig has submitted a draft ordinance to the Municipal Council creating the 'Esperanza Turismo Rodante' program. The initiative aims to position Esperanza as a strategic destination for motorhomes and itinerant tourism, leveraging its location, road connectivity, and local services. The project includes feasibility studies for temporary parking and services for motorhomes, as well as partnerships with clubs, campsites, and gas stations. Puig stated that each motorhome stop generates economic activity through fuel, food, and retail spending.
