Between March 31 and April 15, 2026, unknown individuals slashed the tires of several caravans (travel trailers) and camper vans parked in the Wiehre district of Freiburg. According to police, six incidents have been reported on Wonnhaldestraße, Hans-Thoma-Straße, Matthias-Grünewald-Straße, Beethovenstraße, and Lugostraße. The Freiburg-Süd police station is investigating and is asking witnesses and any further victims to come forward.
