Martin Mongans, 48, of Edinburgh, changed his plea and admitted involvement in the theft of a Swift Sprint Quattro caravan worth £22,000 from Crimdon Dene Holiday Park on the County Durham coast on March 26. Judge Richard Bennett adjourned sentencing until September 18 for a background report, noting that all options, including immediate custody, remain open. Mongans was remanded in custody.
