In Pisa, carabinieri made two arrests within a few hours. On the afternoon of July 19, on Via Ugo Rindi, German tourists returning to their camper with German plates found a 48-year-old man of Moroccan origin inside, who had entered through a broken window. They immediately called 112, and carabinieri arrived within 2 minutes. The suspect was detained near the scene and arrested for attempted burglary.
A second arrest occurred at night on Viale del Tirreno: a 40-year-old passenger of a car tried to flee on foot, resisted, and was found with about 2 grams of cocaine.
Both were arrested. At the hearing on Monday, the judge replaced the 48-year-old's arrest with an obligation to report to police, scheduling the trial for October 5. The 40-year-old was also ordered to report daily to police.
