Arrest
In Castellammare del Golfo, Carabinieri from the local station and the Alcamo mobile radio unit arrested two local men caught inside a parked camper during an attempted theft. The intervention followed a citizen's report of suspicious behaviour.
Stolen items
At the time of detention, stolen property was seized — a credit card, mobile phones and personal belongings — and returned to the owner. According to one source, the camper was parked near Playa beach.
Precautionary measure
After a hearing to validate the arrest, both are required to report to judicial police three times a week.
