Wright explained that the ban is necessary due to dry conditions and nearby wildfires, stating that the ground is so dry that campfires pose a huge risk to life, animals, and the environment. He noted that staff patrol nightly and politely ask guests to put out fires, adding that he has lost income from firewood sales. His daughter Sophie said the warnings are particularly relevant as a fire started on a neighboring farm, reinforcing the importance of precautions during dry conditions.
