An experiment to ban camper van parking in Scarborough and Sandsend has been deemed successful and may become permanent. Authorities received about 3,000 responses, with most opposing the restrictions. The ban led to increased motorhome parking in other areas, including Whitby.

The National Motorhome, Campervan & Camping Exhibition will take place at Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire from 17 to 19 April 2026. The indoor event across four halls will feature over 350 vehicles from 30 dealers and 200 exhibitors. Advance tickets cost £10, while on-the-gate entry is £15.

Volkswagen UK has been offering the VW Multivan Camper since February 2026 — a base California version without rear seats, furniture, and flooring, intended exclusively for professional conversion companies.
