On Thursday morning, the Park-and-Ride lot in Bad Wörishofen was filled with about 30 caravans. Mayor Daniel Pflügl reported that an unknown man offered him 1,500 euros in cash to rent a city meadow for parking, then raised the offer to 2,000 euros after refusal. The city allowed the group to stay until September 5, charging 30 euros per caravan per month. A similar camp in Fischach had previously caused issues, and authorities are checking if the groups are connected.
