Authorities in Olching, Bavaria, have decided to stop allowing caravans to park temporarily at the Olchinger See parking lot after residents complained about unsanitary conditions. From mid-August until early October, a group of caravans occupied the site, some used as accommodation. Owners paid a daily fee of 3 euros per vehicle and a deposit of 800 euros. Mayor Maximilian Gigl said permits will no longer be granted and the city will use all legal means, including clearing the lot, if necessary.
