A motorhome and a van were completely destroyed by fire on a parking lot between Dommelseweg and Columbusstraat in Valkenswaard last night. The fire also spread to a nearby shed. Firefighters operated cautiously due to gas cylinders inside the motorhome, which ultimately did not explode. The fire is believed to have started in the motorhome. A car parked opposite sustained heat damage. Police and fire services are investigating the cause.
