In the night from Monday to Tuesday, around 02:00, a camper and a truck were completely destroyed by fire on a parking lot between Dommelseweg and Columbusstraat in Valkenswaard. The fire is believed to have started in the camper and spread to a nearby shed.
Due to gas cylinders in the camper, firefighters responded with additional forces, but the cylinders did not explode. One vehicle was damaged by heat radiation. The cause of the fire is being investigated.
