A caravan parked next to a house in Sint Nicolaasga caught fire in the night from Saturday to Sunday. The fire was reported around 01:35, and fire crews from Sint Nicolaasga and Sloten responded with multiple vehicles; the caravan was fully ablaze on arrival and no one was inside. Firefighters prevented the flames from spreading to the adjacent house with a thatched roof, declared the fire under control around 02:00 and began damping down. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
