Malaga City Council approved moving the motorhome site from Sacaba Beach to La Virreina Periurban Park. Residents of La Virreina say the park is meant for family recreation and is unsuitable for motorhomes, and plan to raise the issue at Thursday's council meeting. They note that barbecues were banned in the park over fire risk, while motorhomers are allowed to use them. About a dozen motorhomes are currently on the site. The motorhomers, organised in an association, are seeking a legal, controlled space with basic services including water, and say they are willing to talk with residents.
