A dog named Pozi (also reported as Poze), famous online as one of the 'gas station dogs' at a gas station in Campinas (São Paulo state), died during a trailer (or motorhome) trip in Patagonia, Argentina.
On July 12, in the Wharton area near El Bolsón, after a long day of travel, the family stopped at a campsite. Around 10 p.m. (other sources say the last AirTag signal was at 8:01 p.m.), the dog went missing. The family had let four dogs run for 10–15 minutes before bed; only three returned. Three days of intensive searches involving locals, volunteers, police, and firefighters yielded no results. The search was called off on July 18, and it was soon confirmed that the dog had died. Details of the incident are not disclosed for safety reasons.
