A French couple, both former mechanical engineers, sold their belongings and set off with their four children to travel the world in a converted fire truck. They have spent five years traveling through South America and are currently parked in the El Ingenio neighborhood of Cali, Colombia. The family lives off savings and has no plans to return to office work until their children are grown.

A couple from Santa Rosa de Cabal, Colombia, designed a special trailer to transport their two dogs on motorcycle trips. Mechatronics engineer Daniel spent two months building the trailer from welded and metallized iron, equipped with warning lights and a canine seatbelt. The interior space allows the animals to stretch during long journeys. The couple has already explored much of Colombia and plans to expand trips to Chile, Uruguay, and Brazil.

A Czech couple travels in converted Avia trucks. One of the vehicles, Amálka, was left in Colombia after a South American expedition. A book about this journey will be published in 2025, with the author raising funds for its release.
A family from Nîmes (France) is on an eight-month journey across South America in a motorhome. Kevin Dubuc, an electrician, sold his company shares, while his wife Vanessa, a rhythmic gymnastics coach, took a leave of absence. They have visited Uruguay, Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, and are currently in Colombia. This is their first motorhome trip, having previously traveled by plane and stayed in hotels. They plan to return by late July 2026 and then embark on a European tour.

A couple from Zipaquirá sold their belongings to travel the world in a converted motorhome. They visited Aguadas as part of their trip across Colombia and plan to tour all of South America. The project is financed through personal funds, craft sales, and social media content.
