On Tuesday morning, May 13, around 10:15 AM, a camper van and a recovery vehicle collided on the Doctor J.M. den Uylbrug bridge in Zaandam. The recovery vehicle was already carrying a car from a previous call. Both vehicles were heavily damaged; the camper van's fuel tank ruptured, spilling oil onto the road. No injuries were reported, the bridge was temporarily closed, and the cause is under investigation.
