On the evening of May 23, a crash involving three vehicles occurred on the A5 near Mücke (Vogelsberg district), one of which was towing a caravan. A car with a caravan hit the guardrail, and another vehicle got caught in the resulting configuration. All nine people involved in the collision were unharmed, and no one was trapped. The Mücke fire department deployed about 30 personnel; traffic was guided past the scene via the left lane without a full closure.
