The Waterwalker Festival took place in Chungju, South Korea, to commemorate the 81st anniversary of Korea's liberation. The event was held at the Mokgye Solbat Campground and the Jangjaneup water playground on the Namhan River. It was organized by Hidden Lab with support from the Chungju Culture and Tourism Foundation, Chungju Tourism Association, Canoeist, MyCanoe, and Outdoor Campus. Participants, mostly hobbyists, paddled distances of 3.3 km and 10 km. Campground fees range from 10,000 to 35,000 won depending on the zone, plus electricity charges.
