A campsite in Gunsan, North Jeolla Province, South Korea, built with 2.4 billion won in state and local funding, has been closed after its operator gave up due to poor profitability, with occupancy at just 35%. Five attempts to find a new operator have failed. The nearby Cheonamsan auto-camping site also ceased operations in October last year.
