On Wednesday, building authority staff and police cleared the closed campsite at Schachtsee in Wolmirsleben (Salzlandkreis). The action was based on violations of building, fire safety and environmental regulations, confirmed by courts. Owner Joachim Nöske accuses authorities of acting brutally, while the district administration cites permanent legal violations. Swimming in the lake is only allowed if the bathing area is clearly separated from the closed campsite; otherwise, fines may be imposed.
