Riccione Easy Village campsite in Riccione will stop offering seasonal pitches for caravans and motorhomes after the summer season ending September 14, transforming into a lodge village. Operator Club del Sole offers alternative pitches at other campsites, but not in Riccione.
Campers, some of whom have spent summers there for over 30 years, started an online petition on Change.org that has gathered nearly 400 signatures. According to another source, the petition, launched over the weekend, has collected more than 220 of the 500 needed; organizers fear the disappearance of pitches for tents, caravans, and motorhomes and call for dialogue with Club del Sole.
The decision takes effect after the end of the 2026 season, scheduled for September 14. The company explains the transition with the "Full Life Holidays" model focused on comfort and services. Local authorities note that two campsites with pitches remain in the city and consider this a positive factor.
