Social media discussions have arisen around the campsite at Löderburg Lake in Salzlandkreis over rumors of a possible closure. According to the district administration, there is currently no concrete evidence for this. The district initiated a review after a private individual's tip and found that no development plan exists for the campsite. The operator has been informed, and the towns of Staßfurt and Hecklingen have begun steps to create such a plan. Changes to the site are necessary, requiring applications and missing documents. No closure is announced; the goal is to develop the local recreation area.
