The Sustainable Tourism Plan 'Destination Garoña', promoted by the Burgos Provincial Council through Sodebur, has concluded, but the planned motorhome areas in Busto de Bureba and Villanueva Soportilla (Bozoó) were not built. The contractor Ingeniería y Obra Civil Chávarri breached the agreement, and the council could not process the works through a minor contract. The project, funded by the EU's Next Generation funds (€2.87 million), included 18 actions across 23 municipalities, of which 16 were completed. Meanwhile, the via ferrata in Oña will be inaugurated shortly, and the rental price of electric bikes has decreased in some towns.
