Motorhomes overwhelm A Guarda

In A Guarda (Pontevedra), the motorhome parking area at the port, designed for six vehicles, is hosting more than twenty this summer, causing neighbor complaints. BNG spokesperson Anxo Baz criticized the location next to a museum in the urban center, as well as insufficient control and confusing signage. Spanish motorhome and camper sales rise 8.4% in July to 784 units

In July 2026, sales of new motorhomes and campers in Spain rose 8.4% year-on-year to 784 units. Caravan sales surged 52.1% to 219 units. Motorhome sales reached 426 units (+3.4%), while campervans and urban vans totaled 461 (+9.5%). Purchases by private buyers increased from 554 to 644, while rentals fell from 169 to 140. Used motorhome and camper transfers rose 13.5% to 2,543.
