The motorhome area in Breuil-Cervinia will remain closed for the entire 2026/2027 winter season. The municipality of Valtournenche announced this in a notice published on Friday 23 October, stating that a building site in the area and other works on the territory made it impossible to find a suitable alternative location with the necessary requirements to host the service. Parking will be allowed only for stopping in accordance with Article 185 of the Highway Code, while for camping the municipality lists three authorised facilities: Camping Glair in Valtournenche, Camping Cervino in Antey-Saint-André and Dalai Lama campsite in Châtillon. The notice does not give a reopening date for the Breuil-Cervinia area. The municipality says work on a new motorhome area will start soon.
