The owner of a large coastal plot in Cap Martinet, Ibiza, has installed a perimeter fence of stakes and metal mesh, blocking access to the cliff and part of the sea. Hikers and residents expressed surprise and discomfort, but Santa Eulària town hall confirmed the work is a minor construction with a proper permit. The closure is attributed to recurring issues: uncontrolled waste accumulation, recent removal of a motorhome, repeated occupations of a nearby farmhouse, and illegal parking of motorhomes.
