Dutch engineers have presented a camper conversion of the UAZ Bukhanka featuring a pop-up roof. The model stands out with its interior layout: on the left side there is a kitchen with a sink and gas stove, cabinets, a sofa that transforms into a sleeping area, and a portable table. A side awning is also provided.
The pop-up roof makes the cabin darker due to opaque side panels without windows, but it reduces the cost. Externally, the vehicle differs little from the classic Bukhanka, except for the double roof.
In Russia, a similar project, the UAZ Baikal, has not progressed beyond prototypes and has not entered mass production.
