Sture Jansson discovered a 1959 SMV 8 "Egg" caravan in a forest in Sunne Municipality in 2009. The caravan was transported by trailer to Ekshärad in 2012, and restoration took nearly ten years. The caravan measures 380 cm long, 195 cm wide and 200 cm high, with a kerb weight of 370 kg. In May 2022 it passed inspection and received EU approval without requiring further checks due to its age.
