On the Regina road near Sala Comacina, police have stepped up enforcement of bans on tourist buses and motorhomes. During a checkpoint, a heavy vehicle over 16.5 metres long and two motorhomes heading towards Como were fined for violating the Anas ban on southbound transit between 6:30 and 21:00. The fine is 87 euros, reduced by 30% if paid within five days. The future of the restrictions will be decided on 20 November by the Lombardy regional administrative court.
