Last weekend, 92 motorhome users and campers were fined for parking vehicles or setting up camps in unauthorized areas near 24 beaches in the Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park. The operation was carried out by the Algarve regional delegation of the Institute for Nature Conservation and Forests (ICNF), GNR police, and maritime authorities. Its aim was to deter illegal and degrading practices, including habitat destruction and illegal waste dumping.
